In the incident of four bodies found in a manhole near Mai Kolachi Phatak in Karachi, the police have received the initial post-mortem report.
According to the police, there are clear signs of torture on all four bodies, while marks of being hit by a heavy object were also found on the bodies. Among the deceased is an elderly woman, but so far, none of the four bodies have been identified.
Initial investigations have revealed that a dry manhole was used to hide the bodies. After placing the bodies in the manhole, blankets were put over them, and large stones were placed on top of the blankets to keep them hidden from view.
After the necessary procedures were completed at the Civil Hospital, the bodies were handed over for further action.
Edhi Foundation ambulances were used to transport the four individuals from the hospital.
The bodies have now been taken to the Edhi mortuary at the Edhi Home in the Sohrab Goth area.
