Body of missing cousin of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party leader recovered from canal

The week-long search for the mysteriously missing cousin of a Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party leader came to a tragic end when his body was recovered from a local waterway within the limits of Sakrand police station on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Hassan Brohi, a resident of Lal Bakhsh Brohi village in Nawab Wali Muhammad. He had gone missing six days before his body was found.

Despite continuous and extensive search operations by the heirs, no trace of Mr. Brohi could be found after his disappearance. His remains were later recovered from the Attar Mori point of the Khadhar Canal.

The victim was the cousin of Ali Nawaz Brohi, the president of the Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party for Qazi Ahmed Taluka.

Following the news of the body’s discovery, a large number of STP workers gathered at Sakrand Hospital.
