The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has hailed a recent joint operation by Sindh Police and Sindh Rangers that neutralized a highly dangerous criminal gang allegedly involved in terrorism, extortion, and attacks on civilians.
In a statement today, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh extended heartfelt congratulations to the law enforcement agencies, particularly the Sukkur Range Police, for their bravery and professionalism. He stated that the business community wholeheartedly applauds the courageous and decisive action, which has eliminated a significant threat to provincial peace and security.
Sheikh maintained that the resolute efforts of the police and rangers have played a pivotal role in creating a safer environment for commercial, industrial, and economic activities by significantly reducing the crime rate across Sindh.
Abdul Mohamin Khan, FPCCI’s Vice President and Regional Chairman for Sindh, noted that the tireless work of law enforcement has led to a remarkable improvement in law and order, especially in the Sukkur region. He affirmed the business community’s firm support for the security forces in their mission.
Khan elaborated that the dismantled gang was implicated in numerous heinous crimes, including “terrorist activities, deadly attacks on the innocent civilians, police encounters, extortion cases, brutal robberies and major dacoities.”
He specifically paid tribute to the strategic guidance of the Home Minister of Sindh, the Inspector General of Police Sindh, Sindh Rangers, DIG Sukkur, and SSP Sukkur for their relentless pursuit of peace.
The FPCCI reaffirmed its solidarity with all law enforcement agencies, recognizing their invaluable sacrifices in fostering an investor-friendly and growth-oriented environment in Sindh.
