LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has felicitated the Christian community on Easter and said that we equally share the joy of the Christian community on Easter. Sharing joys and happiness with others is the message of Easter.
Buzdar also lauded the role of Christian community in the development and progress of Pakistan. He said that the Christian community has rendered valuable services for the defense of Pakistan. Everyone in Pakistan has equal rights, he added. The government will include all the minorities in the process of the progress and development of the country.
He said that important steps are being taken for the welfare of the minorities in Punjab. He said that in wake of the third wave of the Covid-19, wearing mask and maintaining social distance on Easter is the best way. Protect yourself and others by observing social distances on Easter, he added.
