KARACHI: Peoples Doctors Forum (PDF) Sindh Dr Abdul Razzak Shaikh Thursday demanded of the Sindh Health Minister to withdraw promotion notification of Riaz Gill as Deputy Director Admin, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre(JPMC) and conduct an impartial inquiry into this illegal promotion .
In a letter written to Health Minister Sindh, Shaikh stated that Gill, working as an Assistant Director (BPS-17) at JPMC, had been promoted as Deputy Director Admin (BPS-18) on regular basis against non-vacant post 08 April 2021.
He further stated that Gill was appointed as an Office Assistant (BPS-11) in 2011 and was holding the post as an Assistant Director on current charge basis. He is neither doctor and nor commissioned officer. He doesn’t hold any hospital administration degrees which is also compulsory for the post of deputy director admin. He demanded of the Sindh health minister to withdraw and conduct an impartial inquiry into this illegal promotion.
