QUETTA: Muhammad Naeem Khilji, Chairman, All Balochistan Tandoor Association, has called on authorities to grant permission to bakers to sell naan (bread) in accordance with the rates recommended by committee.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Monday, he said that his union went on strike four months back, demanding new rates of bread. He added that administration formed a committee to recommend new rates of naan (bread).
He said that a committee, constituted for fixing the rate of naan, submitted its recommendations to Commissioner, Quetta Division, for approval, but despite lapse of considerable period of time, rate of naan (bread) had not been fixed yet. He said that if the demands of All Balochistan Tandoor Association were not entertained, they would protest.
