CCTV cameras will be installed along Pak-Afghan border: Langove

KARACHI: Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Zia Langove has said that observations of people with regard to fencing Pak-Afghan border would be given importance.

 

These views were expressed by him while signing Project Cycle (PC-I) regarding fencing of Pak-Afghan border here on Friday. He said that after fencing the border, endevours of security forces for maintaining law and order situation in Pakistan would yield results.

 

He added that CCTV cameras and dictation devices would also be installed along Pak-Afghan border so that the movement of terrorists could effectively be monitored. He said that the acts of terrorisms had reduced considerably after fencing Pak-Afghan border. He added that hideouts in Afghan bordering areas were being used by terrorists to destabilize our peace, economy and society.

 

He said that the only way of thwarting infiltration from across the border was to fence the whole Pak-Afghan border. Lagove said that despite criticism from different quarters, Pak-Army secured our country by fencing the western border.
