Islamabad, January 12, 2023 (PPI-OT):Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) leading a delegation visited Karachi Company and congratulated Raja Javed Iqbal on being elected as President and Haji Zafar as Secretary General of the Traders Welfare Association of G-9 Markaz, Islamabad.
The other Office Bearers included Fida Hussain Abbasi Chairman, Farooq Mughal Patron-in-Chief, Sardar Saeed Senior Vice Patron-in-Chief, Ch. Abdul Ghaffar Senior Vice President, Raja Pervez Senior Vice Chairman, Sheikh Muhammad Riaz Vice Chairman, Ch Anam Saeed, Sherzada Kakakhail, Javed Khan and Sheik Alamgir Vice Presidents.
Speaking at the occasion, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtari said that G-9 Markaz is one of the largest commercial centers of the federal capital, but due to lack of parking facilities the traders are facing problems. He said that CDA has already allocated a space for a parking plaza in G-9 Markaz and stressed that it should construct this facility as soon as possible to address this major issue of the traders.
He said that CDA should focus on the development works in G-9 Markaz including repair of footpaths, carpeting of roads, restoration of street lights etc. He said that the issue of encroachments in the market should be addressed in consultation with the Traders Welfare Association of G-9 Markaz. He assured that ICCI would cooperate with TWA, G-9 Markaz in resolving the issues of the traders.
Speaking at the occasion, Raja Javed Iqbal, President and Haji Zafar Secretary General, Traders Welfare Association, G-9 Markaz, Islamabad shared the major issues of their market including need of parking plaza, development works in markets and hoped that ICCI would cooperate in resolving them.
They thanked the ICCI delegation for visiting their market to congratulate them and assured that they would work with ICCI for the welfare of the trading community of Islamabad. Zafar Bakhtawari, Muhammad Ejaz Abbasi, Khalid Chaudhry, Ashfaq Chatha, Abbas Hashmi, Nisar Mirza and Malik Mohsin were in the ICCI delegation.
