Islamabad, May 04, 2020 (PPI-OT): Directorate of Parliament Lodges and Hostels of the Capital Development Authority has made special arrangements for disinfection and cleanliness of the Parliament Lodges in wake of prevailing situation of Covid-19.
In this connection, door to door disinfection of the lodges is being carried out on daily basis. The door to door manual disinfection is being carried out by especially trained staff equipped with proper protection kits. Furthermore, sanitizing dispensers have been also installed at the entrances of the all blocks of Parliament Lodges. In addition to disinfection, staff has been deputed at the main gate of the lodges for checking temperature of the guests / visitors with infrared guns.
Similarly, mosque of the lodges is being disinfected five times a day while special arrangements have been made for washing and spraying on the roads and footpaths within the premises of the Parliament Lodges. Moreover, cleanliness and sweeping of the hostels is also being carried out multiple times in a day. In line with the instructions of the Authority, masks have been also distributed among officials from BPS-01 to 15 particularly among the staff carrying out disinfection and cleanliness activities in the Lodges.
