LARKANA: A citizen Ahmed Mustafa Shaikh was deprived of Rs six million, two costly mobile phones, CNIC, ATM Card and other valuables in the Bakrani Road area by armed criminals here on Friday in the limits of Dari police station.
Police on receipt of information reached the spot and obtained details of the incident but did nothing to chase the criminals and bust the gangs operating in the area who have been looting the residents for a long time. Ahmed Mustafa Shaikh urged the DIGP Larkana Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh to recover the looted money and other costly items forthwith and dispense justice.
It must be mentioned here that peace in Larkana district is constantly deteriorating but the Sindh Government has never taken any notice which proves that the captain of the police is so powerful that he cannot be touched until and unless his most influential supporter is ready to take his hands off him. Till then residents will continue to face the criminals’ activities despite the fact that local bodies elections are approaching very fast.
