KARACHI:Research work is very important for university teachers who have to set their own goals. Research can be carried out individually or in groups. Supervisors are of great importance for any research work, which requires constant communication and must continue to work with them with great discretion and their advices should be given due importance.
These views expressed by Associate Dean, Computing Faculty, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi (MAJU) Dr Shoukat Wasi while addressing Interactive, Intelligence, Natural Learning Program meeting of the Computer Science research scholars today. The meeting was also addressed by Dr Tafseer Ahmed, Dr. Naseer Aijaz, Syed Sarmad Ali and Dr. Khaleeque Ur Rahman Raazi.
Addressing the meeting, Dr Shoukat Wasi advised participants to participate in research conferences and study International Research regularly journals to collect data related to their research papers. He told that publication of Research Journal of MAJU will be published soon.
Earlier at the start of meeting, Associate Professor, MAJU Computer Science department, Dr Tafseer Ahmad highlighted research activities of the department and asked the scholars to work jointly under IINLP-CLC program.
He said that not only language processing models have to be developed in our fields but also these models and computers have to be made easy for the common people to use through human-computer interaction.
