Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is expected to visit Okara in view of the flood situation in the Sutlej River. Preparations for this important visit are underway and government departments across the district are on alert.

Medical staff, including doctors, have been ordered to remain present in full uniform. Medical facilities have also been directed to ensure the availability of medicines and free diagnostic reports.

The Chief Minister’s schedule includes a visit to the site allocated for the medical college, inspection of the district hospital and jail, and an assessment of the flood situation near the Sutlej River. Her schedule also includes visits to the university, Okara Gymkhana Club, and model bazaars at Okara Gol Chowk.

Security agencies and law enforcement agencies are working together to implement comprehensive security measures for the Chief Minister’s visit.
