CM pays tribute to martyred lawyers

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, said on Monday that the grief of the martyrs of Civil Hospital Quetta was still fresh in their hearts. In his message on the eve of the 6th anniversary of martyred lawyers of Civil Hospital Quetta, he said, “Coward enemies targeted our educated and conscious class in a barbaric act.

People of the province and government fully shared their grief of bereaved family members of the martyred lawyers, he added. Bizenjo said terrorists involved in the tragedy and their patrons would be held accountable. He said, “Lawyers of Balochistan are among the best lawyers of the country.” A programme to provide scholarships and higher education to lawyers was being implemented.

Special grant-in-aid had been released to Pakistan Bar Council, Balochistan Bar Council and all District Bar Association by the government of Balochistan,” said adding, “Our purpose is to provide the best facilities to the lawyers of the province.

He said in order to put an end to the occurrence of such incidents, durable peace was being restored in the province. For establishing a welfare society, maintenance of law and order situations was inevitable, said Bizenjo.
