DERA MURAD JAMALI:Former Minister, Mir Muhammad Safiq Umrani, said Wednesday that ration provided by Uch Power Plant authorities to district administration for distribution among poor and deserving was distributed amongst rich, non-local people and government employees rather than deserving people.
In a statement, he said that on the instructions of one influential person, authorities of district administration distributed ration amongst near and dear ones. He said instead of providing ration to the local deserving persons, ration provided by Uch Power Plant was distributed among the people of Usta Muhammad, Jaffarabad, Tamboo and other areas.
He called on authorities to take notice of the unjust distribution of ration and strict disciplinary proceedings against the responsible officers and officials of district administration may be taken.
