Srinagar, January 23, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has expressed serious concern over the increasing tension between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC). The JI spokesman, Advocate Zahid Ali, in a statement in Srinagar said, tension along the Line of Control between India and Pakistan is a matter of great concern for all the people living in these countries. He said that Kashmir dispute, which is the main cause of this tension, should be settled to end this sordid situation forever.
The Jamaat appeals both the countries to sit along with the real representatives of Jammu and Kashmir to find a just, durable and acceptable solution of the Kashmir dispute and give due regard to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people which is the easiest way to end the uncertain atmosphere prevailing in South Asia, he added.
