KARACHI: Professor Dr Sheema Hassan passed away due to coronavirus (COVID-19) on Saturday.
Sources said ex-head of Department and Senior Consultant Histopathology and Cytology Department Agha Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Prof Dr Sheema Hassan passed away owing to COVID-19 at AKU.
Pakistan Medical Association (PMA-Center) data showed at least 70 healthcare professionals had died due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) across the Sindh province since the outbreak of the disease in Feb 2020 out of which 63 were doctors and seven were other medical staff till date.
