The Government of Balochistan has strongly condemned the fatal attack on a civilian vehicle in the Panjgur area, ordering a comprehensive investigation and vowing that the culprits will be brought to justice, in what a senior official has termed an “extremely cowardly” act.
Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, in a statement on Tuesday, expressed the provincial administration’s deep sorrow and regret over the incident that occurred near the Nokor Chidgi border.
In a formal statement, Mr. Rind said that the targeting of innocent civilians by armed individuals is an indefensible act of violence.
He confirmed that a “complete, transparent, and impartial” inquiry has been launched, and law enforcement agencies have been directed to ensure the immediate arrest of those involved in this tragic incident.
The Assistant to the Chief Minister assured that the culprits will face legal consequences under all circumstances, and stressed that no one will be allowed to disrupt law and order.
He emphasized that the state is taking its duty to protect the lives and property of its citizens with utmost seriousness and that any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
Mr. Rind stated that the investigation is progressing rapidly as authorities are gathering more evidence and details related to the attack.
Concluding his remarks, Shahid Rind expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the affected families, affirming that the Government of Balochistan stands with them and will provide all possible support in this difficult time.
