Crackdown launched against traffic violators in Jhang

Jhang police have launched a city-wide crackdown against traffic law violators under stringent measures to prevent road accidents, announcing a strict zero-tolerance policy.

SP Investigation Rehman Qadir announced on Tuesday that indiscriminate actions are underway and the enforcement of traffic laws will be ensured at all costs, with no negligence to be tolerated.

This announcement was made during a traffic awareness seminar held at Government Graduate College Jhang, which was attended by a large number of students. The event was organized to raise awareness about traffic laws among the public.

Addressing the participants, SP Qadir delivered a comprehensive lecture on the importance of adhering to road safety laws and termed violations a serious crime that results in the loss of precious lives. He urged the public, especially the younger generation, to fully comply with traffic regulations and prove themselves responsible citizens.

DSP Traffic Saeed Akhtar and SHO Kotwali Police Station were also present on the occasion.

The authorities expressed their commitment to promoting a culture of traffic discipline through ongoing awareness campaigns, with the clear objective of significantly reducing the accident rate in the city.
