Crystal Meth Supplier to Youth Arrested

Authorities in Karachi’s South District today arrested two drug dealers involved in distributing high-quality crystal meth amphetamine and intoxicating pills, specifically targeting youth attending private dance gatherings held in upscale residential areas. These arrests are part of an ongoing campaign to curb illegal drug activities across the region.

Under the direct supervision of SSP South District Mahzoor Ali, law enforcement operations against drug dealers are yielding results. Staff of the Boat Basin Police Station conducted a significant operation, resulting in the apprehension of two key suspects involved in drug sales in the Clifton and Defense Housing Authority areas.

Acting on verified information, Boat Basin Police successfully located and arrested these two highly sought-after individuals. Officers responded promptly to a tip-off, raiding the location where the culprits were caught red-handed.

The arrested individuals were identified as Muhammad Muzammil son of Muhammad Anwar and Abhaji alias Abu son of Masoom Pasha. Subsequently, during a search, 45 grams of high-quality crystal meth amphetamine, commonly known as “Ice,” were recovered from their possession.

Initial investigations reveal that these culprits are key members of a gang that supplies “Ice” and various intoxicating pills to young residents in the Clifton and DHA areas. Further investigations have uncovered their involvement in supplying illegal substances at private dance events.

Case number 282/2026 has been registered against the culprits at Boat Basin Police Station under Section 6/9(2)2 of the Drug Act. Investigations are ongoing, and currently, efforts are focused on locating and arresting other accomplices connected to the drug distribution network.
