CTD directed to intensify operations against terrorist elements in Islamabad

Following a high-level security meeting chaired by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has been ordered to intensify operations against terrorist elements, utilizing modern technology to enhance operational effectiveness.

This directive was issued today during a strategic meeting comprising senior officials, including SSP CTD Muhammad Arslan Shahzaib. The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the current security situation and to devise strategies for stronger coordination among departments.

During the meeting, DIG Tariq emphasized the critical need for the CTD to intensify its efforts to ensure public safety and maintain law and order. He directed the department to launch effective measures against individuals and groups involved in terrorism.

A key component of the new strategy is the effective use of modern technical tools. The DIG stressed that leveraging advanced technology is essential for successful intelligence gathering and for conducting precise operations against security threats.
