Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released new currency exchange rates, showing fluctuations in the buying and selling prices of various foreign currencies against the Pakistani Rupee. The interbank rates for the U.S. dollar remained stable, with a slight difference between buying and selling prices.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the U.S. dollar's buying rate was recorded at 279.20 rupees, while the selling rate stood at 280.50 rupees. The Euro saw a buying rate of 324.22 rupees and a selling rate of 328.39 rupees. The British Pound was available for buying at 371.24 rupees and for selling at 376.23 rupees. The Japanese Yen showed a buying rate of 1.74 rupees and a selling rate of 1.81 rupees. The United Arab Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal also exhibited slight fluctuations, with buying rates of 75.63 and 73.91 rupees, and selling rates of 76.77 and 74.91 rupees, respectively.
The interbank rates, however, displayed a narrower margin, with the U.S. dollar buying rate at 279.45 rupees and selling at 279.65 rupees. The newly released rates are expected to influence financial transactions and currency exchanges in the coming days.
