Pakistan and China have held high-level discussions on the evolving regional situation and wider global developments, with Islamabad’s top diplomat underscoring the necessity of dialogue to navigate the challenges.
The conversation took place on Monday in Islamabad between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, according to a report by MOIB today.
During the meeting, Mr Dar reaffirmed the nation’s steadfast commitment to fostering peace and stability, both within the region and on a global scale.
The foreign minister also placed particular emphasis on the critical importance of employing dialogue, diplomacy, and sustained consultations as key mechanisms for resolution.
