A six-member delegation representing the Dawoodi Bohra community met with Additional Inspector General Azad Khan on Tuesday to discuss key security issues and enhance cooperation with the city’s police force.
The meeting, held at the Karachi Police Office, was led by Ismail Bhaisaheb. Other members included Murtaza Lokhandwala, Khuzaima Erinpurwala, Ali Asghar Bhai Mithaiwala, Ali Fida Zakir, and Husnain Ratlamwala.
During the meeting, a detailed review of security arrangements, strategies for fostering greater cooperation between the community and law enforcement agencies, and other matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Additional IG Khan reiterated the police department’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of all citizens. He emphasized that building strong relationships and mutual trust with the city’s diverse communities is a top priority, and continuous effective measures are being taken towards this end.
At the end of the meeting, the Dawoodi Bohra representatives presented gifts to the police chief and expressed their good wishes.
