DC Chairs First Meeting of New Governing Body of Centre of Excellence Daanish Schools

The first meeting of the newly constituted Governing Body of the Centre of Excellence Daanish Schools, Sialkot, was held under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Sialkot, Saba Asghar Ali.

According to an official information today, the meeting was attended by Principal Centre of Excellence (Boys) Shahbaz Hassan, Principal Centre of Excellence (Girls) Lady Anderson Higher Secondary School Syeda Irm Shirazi, Governing Body members Chaudhry Shakeel, Dr. Maryam Nauman, Fareeha Khawar, Muhammad Owais, and other relevant officials.

Welcoming the members of the Governing Body, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Governing Body has a vital role to play in achieving the objectives of this important educational initiative of the Punjab government, further improving academic standards, and ensuring the effective administration of the institutions.

She expressed hope that all members would perform their responsibilities diligently and contribute significantly to providing students with quality and modern educational facilities.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the Centre of Excellence’s academic standards, institutional performance, student welfare, learning environment, administrative affairs, and ongoing and proposed development initiatives. Participants also exchanged views on various matters and considered practical recommendations to further enhance the overall performance of the institutions.

Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali directed all concerned departments to perform their responsibilities in close coordination and with an effective strategy, in line with the Punjab government’s vision of promoting quality education, providing modern teaching facilities, and ensuring the continuous improvement of educational institutions so that students can benefit from the best possible learning environment.
