Dadu: The flood victims of Khairpur Nathan Shah lashed out at Deputy Commissioner over his visit to the flood-hit areas, surrounded him and questioned his negligence at the time of the tragedy, late Monday on Tuesday.
As per details, the situation got awkward for DC when he was mobbed by flood victims upon his arrival on boat and fell prey of their wrath for neglecting the city at the time of the catastrophe.
“Where was DC Dadu when people were dying of hunger and thirst? Where were you when deadly floods were aggravating our miseries? They further added that where were you when we lost our loved ones.
Now, when we have lost everything, our home, our loved ones, and our possession and left displaced, you are here to rub salt into our wounds,” questioned deplored flood victims to DC.
The people started attacking DC, however, the DC manages to escape from the site to save his life.
