The 22nd death anniversary of renowned Pakistani playback singer Mujeeb Alam was observed today (Tuesday).
Mujeeb Alam began his singing career at Radio Pakistan. He sang several hit songs in the late 1960s and also recorded songs in various local languages, including Bangla, Punjabi, and Pashto, in addition to Urdu.
He won a Nigar Award for the song ‘Aye Maan Teri Soorat Ke Aagay,’ featured in the film Qulli. Mujeeb Alam passed away on this day in 2004 in Karachi.
