Delegations continue to visit martyr Zeenatul Islam’s residence

Srinagar, January 17, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, despite strict restrictions Hurriyat delegations continued to visit the residence of martyr Zeenatul Islam in Sugan area of Shopian district. Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, during his visit to the bereaved family in Shopian said, “The oppressive measures cannot deter the valiant people of the Jammu and Kashmir from demanding their right to self-determination in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.”

Waza urged Pakistan and India to initiate meaningful dialogue process for finding out an acceptable and permanent solution to the Kashmir dispute.” He was accompanied by Nisar Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad and Shabbir Ahmad.

A delegation of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami led by Gulshan Abbas also visited the bereaved family of Zeenatul Islam in Shopian. The other members of the delegation included Muhammad Maqbool Magami, Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Muhammad Baqar Rathar. The delegation members offered Fateha for martyr Zeenatul Islam and other Kashmiri martyrs.

Another delegation comprising leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League led by Muhammad Rafiq Ganai also visited the bereaved family members in Sugan, Shopian. Later, police raided the house of Muhammad Rafiq Ganai. Meanwhile, a delegation of Muslim Khawteen Markaz led by party Chairperson Yasmeen Raja visited Khashipora, Tral area of Pulwama to express sympathy with a Sikh victim family. Yasmeen Raja on the occasion strongly condemned the killing of a family member, recently.
