Lahore, August 26, 2020 (PPI-OT): Descon celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with full fervour in a simple yet impressive ceremony held at all Descon locations including ongoing project sites. The attendees while following the SOPs, took part in various activities such as flag hoisting, cake cutting, and singing the national anthem.
Encouraging the patriotic spirit of employees on the occasion, CEO Descon Engineering Ltd. Nadeem Bajwa said, “Today, just chanting slogans does not suffice to us. There lies a higher responsibility on our shoulders. We have to discharge our duties diligently to get rid of incessant crises and uncertainties. Before we imagine what needs to be done for tomorrow, it’s mandatory to shed some light on today. The hard work, dedication, struggles, and endeavours that we do today will lead to a better tomorrow. As the great Quaid-e-Azam said, you are made of sterling material and are second to none. Why should you also not succeed like many others? We all need to follow this principle and aim towards continuous improvement to become a reliable source for all those around us”.
