DI Khan police claim killing two terrorists

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An intelligence-based operation conducted by district police resulted in the elimination of two high-profile terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday.

The operation, executed within the jurisdiction of the Paroa Police Station, was launched following credible information about the presence of wanted terrorists, identified as Shoaib and Noman, in the area.

The police claimed that suspects were affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Bali Khiara group. They were implicated in multiple cases of violence, including attacks on law enforcement agencies and sectarian-targeted killings.

Authorities had offered a substantial reward of Rs 1 million for the capture of Shoaib. Tragically, during the exchange of fire, an innocent passerby sustained injuries. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts of security forces to combat terrorism and maintain security and stability within the region.
