DIG Operations Lahore visited various churches in the city, reviewed the security around places of worship

As part of an initiative to enhance the protection of religious sites, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Lahore conducted a comprehensive inspection of several churches in the city, aimed at strengthening security measures.

During his visit, DIG Operations reviewed the security protocols in place at St. Mary, United Church, Catholic Church Mall Road, and Church of Pakistan. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of worshippers and the sanctity of these religious sites.

Officers deployed at these locations were instructed to maintain heightened vigilance, with a particular emphasis on reinforcing checks at entry and exit points. The DIG further directed that patrolling be increased around these places of worship.

In his statement, DIG Operations reaffirmed the Lahore Police Force’s commitment to maintaining peace and protecting these vital community centers. “Lahore Police is always working vigilantly to maintain peace and protect places of worship,” he emphasized.
