Quetta:Kohlu levies force seized huge cache of arms and ammunition in an operation conducted at the hideout of terrorists in Mukhi Nala area of Tehsil Maiwand, district Kohlu on Saturday.
Seized arms and ammunition included twelve anti-tank bomb, a Russian-made LMG, 17500 LMG rounds, forty eight Mortar rounds. Addressing a press conference, Assistant Commissioner Kohlu Abdul Sattar Mengal and Risaldar Major Shair Muhammad Mari said terrorists wanted to carry out a big terrorist action in Kohlu; however, the timely action of levies force saved Kohlu.
On the other hand, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Qambrani, Director General, Balochistan Levies Force announced two Lakh rupees for the Jawans of Balochistan Levies Force, Kohlu, who took part in the operation.
