Domestic Gold Market Surges, Gold Price Rises by Rs 6,500 per Tola

The price of gold in the local market saw a significant increase on Saturday, with the value of 24-karat per tola gold rising by a notable Rs 6,500.

Following this surge, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold reached a new high of Rs 521,162. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 5,573 to Rs 446,812.

The price hike also affected the 22-karat category, where the price for 10 grams increased by Rs 5,109, bringing its new price to Rs 409,592.

These changes in the local market mirrored the global market, where the international price of gold closed at $4,988 per ounce after a $65 increase.

A similar increase was seen in the prices of silver. The price of 24-karat per tola silver increased by Rs 526 to Rs 10,801.

Concurrently, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver closed at Rs 9,260 after rising by Rs 451, while the global silver market recorded a $5.26 increase, bringing the price to $103.26 per ounce.
