Twelve accused individuals were transferred to a police station for legal proceedings following an extensive search and combing operation conducted by Islamabad Police in the Karachi Company area.

According to a report today, the security measure, part of a broader initiative to enhance safety in the federal capital, involved the thorough inspection of 89 people, 75 residences, 18 hotels, 26 vehicles, and 47 motorcycles.

This targeted action was carried out under the supervision of SP City Suleman Zaffar, in line with directives issued by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to suppress crime and target illicit elements.

SSP Operations Islamabad stated that the objective of these enforcement activities is to tighten controls on criminal elements and bolster security across the city. He confirmed that similar operations are being conducted in various parts of the district.

The official further noted that the Islamabad Police is continuing its indiscriminate actions against offenders, including land grabbers and drug dealers. Authorities have requested public cooperation, urging citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity to the concerned police station or via the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”.
