A notorious criminal, considered a symbol of terror, is among the twelve dacoits who have surrendered to authorities in Sukkur under the government’s new policy, marking a significant development in the fight against organized crime in the region.

Sindh’s Provincial Home Minister, Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, today lauded the success, attributing it to the well-executed plan of regional law enforcement agencies.

“DIG Sukkur, SSP Sukkur, and their team deserve praise. An effective strategy is yielding results,” the minister said, commending the officers involved.

The Home Minister highlighted the importance of the government’s surrender policy, calling it “a significant step towards eradicating crime and establishing peace” in the region.

This development serves as a clear message to other criminal elements, with the minister stressing that “it is not possible to escape the grip of the law.”

He confirmed that those who surrendered will not be exempt from legal proceedings. “Action will be taken against those who have surrendered according to the law,” he stated.

Mr. Lanjar reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to maintaining law and order, stating, “All possible measures will continue to be taken for the establishment of peace and order.”

“The joint operations of police and law enforcement agencies are yielding positive results,” he concluded, highlighting the success of inter-agency cooperation.
