During the Tri-Series cricket tournament, Islamabad Traffic Police has issued an advisory for citizens

Due to security and transport arrangements for the Tri-Series cricket tournament, commuters in the capital have been advised to expect significant travel disruptions until November 29 and to add 15 to 20 minutes to their travel time.

The Islamabad Traffic Police stated on Sunday morning that traffic flow on the Expressway and Srinagar Highway is expected to be affected, especially during peak hours, to ensure the safe movement of cricket teams from Islamabad to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

To manage the situation, the Islamabad Traffic Police has deployed a contingent of over 300 personnel during the matches, aiming to ensure minimal inconvenience to the public.

Authorities have requested citizens to cooperate with traffic officials and exercise patience during these temporary disruptions.

The public can stay updated on the real-time traffic situation by following the official social media pages of the Islamabad Police and tuning into FM 92.4.

For any emergency, citizens can contact the Pucar 15 service or the dedicated traffic helpline 1915.
