LARKANA: Sindh Assembly speaker and acting governor Agha Siraj Durrani said Monday that local bodies election is a love affair which is held among the various communities but he saw a hate among the communities yesterday (Sunday) which is very astonishing for which he expressed his grief.
He was talking to newsmen at Garhi Khuda Bux where he reached along with his supporters to offer prayers at the graves of Bhutto leaders after winning LB polls in Garhi Yasin Taluka of Shikarpur district.
Durrani said that the administration provided its own security but in some areas, they failed to provide security because the area was too large and security would have been better, had the police been called from other districts. He was referring to the wrath of the people he faced in Fateh Muhammad Jaffery village near Garhi Yasin video of which had also become viral on social media.
He said that NAB was trying to keep him in jail but he was still under custody. He said that the NAB administration had become so dirty that even its officers will not be seen in the coming days, Inshallah, because they had committed so much highhandedness to the people that they would escape.
He said they were watching the new NAB law that had been passed. Durrani announced that he would soon file a case against the ‘Thug of Delhi’ who filed a false petition against him. NAB’s newly created law had been returned by the President of Pakistan, which would itself become a law after 14 days for which a notification had also been issued, the provincial assembly Speaker added. He said that three years had passed but the NAB could not prove anything against him.
