Islamabad, November 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):Election Commission of Pakistan has constituted three separate committees to implement legislation on Electronic Voting Machines and I-voting. The Elections (second amendment) bill, 2021 was approved by the joint session of Parliament last week.
One of the committee will look into the technical aspects of the EVMs and i-voting, the second one will determine the expenditure to be incurred on the process and the third committee will suggest lacunas in the legislation and rules.
