ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday reserved its verdict on a plea filed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) seeking disqualification of its 20 dissident Members of the National Assembly (MNAs).
A three-member bench of the ECP headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sultan Sikandar Raja reserved its verdict after hearing all the sides at length. The verdict is expected to be announced today. During the hearing, the ECP bench turned down the request of PTI’s counsel Faisal Chaudhary that PTI would submit more record.
