HARNAI:Committee formed by grand jirga (council) would file a case before the Election Commission of Pakistan to get district Harnai of Balochistan province notified as a separate constituency of Balochistan Provincial Assembly besides holding a press conference at Islamabad Press Club for highlighting the problems being confronted by the residents of district Harnai.
These views were expressed by speakers while addressing a “Grand Jirga” held at Town Committee Hall of district Harnai under the auspices of Harnai Bachao Tehreek (HBT) on Thursday. They said that no stone would be left unturned for highlighting the basic issues of Harnai, one of the backward districts of Balochistan province. Grand Jirga unanimously decided to form a “committee” under the leadership of Syed Yousaf Shah with Malik Akbar Khan Tarin, Fazal Khan Tarin, Kifayatullah Tarin, Hafizullah Tarin and Ramesh Kumar as other members of the committee with the task of filing a case before Election Commission of Pakistan to get district Harnai of Balochistan province notified as a separate constituency of Balochistan Provincial Assembly. It was also decided that the mentioned committee would also hold a press conference at Islamabad Press Club for highlighting the issues of district Harnai.
Grand Jirga was addressed by Syed Noor Muhammad Shah, Chairman, HBT, Malik Akbar Khan Tarin, Vice Chairman, Wali Dad Miani, district President, Awami National Party, Abdul Latif Tarin of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Fazil Khan Tarin, President, Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Harnai, Kifayatullah Tarin, Malik Syed Nazir Pechi, Malik Inayatullah Tarin, Syed Zakir Shah, Syed Nazeer Shah, Syed Yousaf Shah, Abdul Manan Inqilabi and others.
