Eight police mobiles raid Mour Khan Village, accused held

LARKANA: Police Thursday evening conducted a raid at Mour Khan village to arrest the nominated accused in two FIRs registered against Inayat Umrani and others at Civil Lines police station under Anti-Terrorism Act and PPC sections.

According to police sources, the police party consisted of over eight mobiles. The police faced tough resistance from the villagers as the voice of firing was also heard by residents of other villages. Police took away the cattle from the village and unconfirmed reports claimed that some villagers were also arrested, but Umrani managed to flee.

Meanwhile, in another development, PPP-SB chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto in her voice message sent to doctors that became viral on social media, has said that Umrani had already been expelled from the party and was no more in the party. She said due to misunderstanding, lack of experience and some circumstances, he was working at our land which will also finish.

She hoped action will be taken against him. She said she is very sorry and assured the injured doctor that when she is back to Larkana she will visit the house of injured Dr. Junaid Raza Sandano at the very outset. She said FIR should be registered against Umrani.
