Karachi, July 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): Home Department, Government of Sindh has established Vigilance / Law and Order Monitoring Cell to maintain liaison / communication with all Election Cells / Control Rooms of respective Law Enforcing Agencies / Commissioners / Deputy Commissioners to monitor the law and order situation during the General Election 2018. It has been requested to all concerned authorities that information pertaining to law and order situation / incident (if any) be communicated to the Vigilance / Law and Order Monitoring Cell of Home Department.
The Officers/Officials of Home Department are here by deputed to work in vigilance / Law and Order Monitoring Cell established in Home Department, with Telephone Nos. 021-99213410 – 021-99213420 Fax No. 021-99211122, to monitor the law and order situation, during General Election 2018. The Vigilance / Law and Order Monitoring Cell with function round the clock in two shifts i.e. 09:00 am to 05:00 pm and 05: pm to 12:00 am with immediate effect and until further orders. The information regarding law and order situation / incident and violation of ECP Code of Conduct (if any) shall be instantly recorded and a consolidated report in this regard would be compiled at 10:00 am and 08:00 pm on daily basis. The consolidated report would be submitted to the Special Secretary (Prisons).
