KARACHI: An excise police team Kotri on Saturday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 2060 grams of hashish from his possession.
According to official information, on the instructions of Excise and Taxation Officer Jameel Ahmad Khunharu Circle Kotri, Excise Inspector Ejaz Shah along with his team arrested accused Salman Hassan and recovered 2060 grams of hashish from his possession.
A case has been registered against the accused and investigation started. Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Mukesh Kumar Chawla, while congratulating Excise Police Kotri on successful operation, has expressed his hope that the officers and personnels of Sindh Excise Department would continue their operations against drug dealers.
