Federal Body Vows Swift Resolution for Karachi’s Municipal Issues

A high-level delegation from the Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDCL) has committed to urgently address all technical issues and grievances faced by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), signaling a potential breakthrough in resolving the city’s persistent municipal challenges.

According to information today, the significant assurance was delivered during a pivotal meeting at the KMC Head Office between a PIDCL team, led by CEO Waseem Hayat Bajwa, and Karachi’s Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab.

The federal delegation, which also included Federal Government Spokesperson for Sindh Raja Khaliq Zaman and Chief Engineer Shafi Chachar, pledged to prioritize the resolution of KMC”s technical concerns. They further committed to implementing sustainable and long-lasting development solutions for the metropolis.

In response, Wahab affirmed that the KMC would extend its complete support and collaboration for all initiatives focused on the progress and betterment of Karachi.

The meeting was also attended by key municipal officials, including Municipal Commissioner S. M. Afzal Zaidi, KMC”s Financial Advisor Gulzar Abro, and Director Media Daniyal Siyal.
