(Federal budget for next fiscal year is growth oriented: PM)

ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the federal budget for next fiscal year is growth oriented that will not only solidify economic stability but also promote key areas of economy, including agriculture, industry and housing.

Speaking at a meeting of party spokespersons here on Monday, he expressed satisfaction that the country’s economy has not only stabilized but is also moving toward growth. He said while international economy was severely hit by Covid-19, Pakistan covered the economic journey through a successful strategy.

Highlighting the key priorities, Imran Khan said the government focused on Kamyab Jawan Programme, Sehat Card, Ten Billion Tree Tsunami, promotion of science and technology, poverty alleviation and generation of employment opportunities with an aim to effectively overcome the challenges facing the country.
