Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has vowed to deal with the culprits with “iron hands” following the fatal firing incident near the city’s bus terminal and has ordered an immediate and transparent investigation into the loss of precious lives.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Chief Minister termed the loss of “precious lives” a tragic incident and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
Emphasizing the rule of law, Shah assured that the perpetrators responsible for the violence will be brought to justice swiftly. He issued a stern warning that any individual disrupting peace and order will be dealt with strictly.
The Chief Minister stressed that violence is not a solution to any problem, and declared that the state will not remain a “silent spectator” to such acts.
He added that long-standing enmities will not be allowed to continue for generations.
In response to the incident, Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed all police and law enforcement agencies to remain on high alert to prevent further unrest.
