Forces deployed in Duki to safeguard public

DUKI: Advisor to Chief Minister for Home Tribal Affairs and PDMA, Mir Ziaullah Langove, said Thursday that forces had been deployed in different areas of the province, including Duki, to safeguard the lives and properties of the people rather than creating hardships for the people.

This was stated by him while addressing the participants of a protest sit-in staged in Duki area for the arrest of security personnel allegedly involved in the murder of one young man Khaliq Dad Babar. Langove said that the incident of Duki was thoroughly discussed in the provincial cabinet meeting held the previous day with Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo in the chair.

He said that the Chief Minister Balochistan categorically stated, “Whoever violates law, strict legal action would be taken against him irrespective of the fact whether he belongs to security forces or not.”

He said that after the incident of Turbat, which took the life of a youth, a sepoy of security forces was apprehended and accordingly booked under the relevant sections. He said forces had been deployed in different areas of the province, including Duki, to safeguard the lives and properties of the people rather than creating hardships for the people.
