Most parts of the country will experience hot and dry weather on Tursday, while upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir may see partly cloudy skies with a chance of light rain and thunderstorms in some areas.

During the past 24 hours, the southern parts of the country remained extremely hot, while some areas in Gilgit-Baltistan received rainfall. Rainfall was recorded at 1 mm in Bagrot and Bunji.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 46 degrees Celsius in Shaheed Benazirabad, while it reached 45 degrees in Chhor and 44 degrees in Bahawalnagar, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Larkana, Mithi, Mohenjo-daro, and Tando Jam.

In Islamabad and its surrounding areas, hot and dry weather is expected on Thursday. Strong winds are likely in most districts of Balochistan. Partly cloudy skies are expected in the areas of Murree and Galiyat, whereas dusty winds may occur in southern districts.

In most districts of Sindh, the weather will remain extremely hot and dry, with the possibility of dusty winds in some areas.

In the upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, partly cloudy weather is expected, with light rain and thunderstorms possible in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, Shangla, and surrounding areas.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are also forecasted to have partly cloudy weather with a chance of light rain.
