Four suspicious individuals were taken into custody and five motorbikes were impounded for legal proceedings following a significant search and combing operation conducted by law enforcement within the Khanna police station”s jurisdiction.
Capital Police said on Friday that the extensive manoeuvre, carried out under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (SP) for Soan Zone, involved the thorough inspection of 128 people, 35 residences, 77 motorcycles, and 12 other vehicles.
This action is part of a series of regular search and combing initiatives being executed across various parts of the federal capital. These special measures were implemented following directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aimed at curbing criminal activities and bolstering the safety and security of the city.
SSP Operations for Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that the primary objective of these operations is to tighten the security cordon around criminal elements. He elaborated that such efforts are designed to fortify the overall security framework of the city.
The SSP further affirmed that Islamabad Police will persist with indiscriminate actions against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers.
Concluding his remarks, he appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police force. The public was urged to immediately report any suspicious activity to their nearest police station or by using the ‘Pucar-15’ emergency helpline.
