KHAIRPUR:A local court on Monday awarded a life imprisonment to all four narcotic smugglers.
Gul Zamir Solangi, a judge of Model Criminal Court Khairpur, announced the verdict of a narcotic case in view of evidences and statements from both sides. It awarded life imprisonment to four accused Abdul son of Nizamuddin Noorzai, Nasrullah son of Dad Muhammad Achakzai, Abdul son of Atta Hussain Watni and Fayaz Hussain son of Muhammad Maroof Watni.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 against each accused. In case of default in the payment of the fine money, the accused will have to undergo six months more jail term, said the judge.
According to the prosecution, the accused had been arrested by Tando Masti police on Larkana-Sukkur road and during search, an Alto car and 45 kilograms of hashish was recovered from their possession.
