Gaza Peace Deal Breached: Pakistan Condemns Israeli Attacks, Calls for Urgent Global Intervention

Pakistan has issued a sharp condemnation of renewed Israeli military aggressions in Gaza, labeling the deadly attacks that have claimed numerous civilian lives as a flagrant breach of the recently signed Gaza Peace Agreement and demanding immediate international intervention.

In a formal statement released Wednesday, the Foreign Office censured the actions by Israeli occupying forces, emphasizing that such offensives blatantly defy the spirit of the peace accord. The agreement was notably brokered in Sharm El-Sheikh, witnessed by prominent leaders from the Muslim and Arab world, alongside high-level representatives from the United States, Europe, and the United Nations.

Islamabad has appealed to the global community to implement urgent and decisive measures to halt the ongoing violations. The government is pressing for the full enforcement of the ceasefire terms to safeguard the lives of the Palestinian civilian population caught in the conflict.

Reaffirming its steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, Pakistan called for an immediate cessation of Israeli hostilities. The statement reiterated the nation’s principled position, advocating for the establishment of an independent, sovereign, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine.

This long-standing policy supports a Palestinian state based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif designated as its capital.
